Robbie Timmons and Hillers Join Forces to Help Horses

December 17, 2009 – wxyz.com – WXYZ-TV Noon and 5pm Anchor, Robbie Timmons is partnering with Hiller’s Markets to help "large" four-legged friends find homes through 501(c)3 non-profit CANTER.

All profits from sales of Robbie’s food choice at Hiller’s prepared foods department, TURKEY MEATLOAF, will go to CANTER to help find homes for retired racehorses, and to provide surgery for injured thoroughbreds through Michigan State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital’s “Equine Rehabilitation Fund.”

TURKEY MEATLOAF (cooked-ready to eat) will be available for sale at all 7 Hiller’s Markets through January 1st. It’s part of Hiller’s "Good Deeds in the Making" to support charities.

Robbie says, "It’s a great idea. You can buy a healthy turkey meatloaf that’s already cooked to perfection and help a great cause at the same time.. all without turning on the oven!"
