One good contest
July 15, 2010 – The Detroit News – Hiller's Markets and the Buy Michigan Now campaign, which is holding its second annual Buy Michigan Now Festival Aug. 6-8 in Northville, are looking for the best recipe using Michigan-made ingredients. Primary ingredients of each recipe must be Michigan-grown or produced, with at least 75 percent of the total ingredients stemming from Michigan.

The top four recipes will be presented at the final cook-off Aug. 7 with local celebrity chefs as judges and Hiller's own Chef Peter Julian. In addition to a $250 Hiller's Markets gift card, the grand prize winner's recipe will be sold at all seven Hiller's locations for one month with profits benefitting a Michigan charity of the winner's choice.

Recipes must be submitted via the online form by 12:01 a.m. on July 24. Finalists will be notified by July 31. For official rules or to enter the contest, visit http://www.buymichigannow.com/recipe_submission.php Additional information available at http://www.hillers.com/news-events.
