Hiller’s `Sing for Your Supper’ gives local choirs a strong voice |
November 18, 2010 – Love holiday tunes? Enjoy supporting a good cause? Then we have the place for you on the first weekend in December! Be entertained by local singers while you shop during Hiller’s Markets `Sing for Your Supper’ fund-raiser for community choirs.
Twenty-two local choirs will be performing for 30 minutes on Saturday December 4 and Sunday December 5 and any money donated at cash registers, in increments of $1, $5 or $10, will be matched by Hiller’s Markets to support vital music programs.
Justin Hiller, vice-president of Hiller’s Markets, said: "There have been massive budget cuts to music programs in schools. This is a way we can help, and at the same time entertain customers as they shop. Hiller’s mission is to strengthen our community and supporting music education is a vital part of that."
Feel – and hear – the holiday beat at your local Hiller’s!
