Hiller’s Lasagna Helps HAVEN
January 31, 2011 – Profits from ready-to-eat lasagna raise money for Hiller's Good Deeds in the Making.

Hiller’s Good Deeds in the Making Program will raise money for HAVEN, an Oakland County-based non-profit dedicated to treating victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.  All profits from ready-to-eat homemade Polly’s Fabulous Four Cheese Vegetable Lasagna sold at the deli counter for $5.98 lb will be donated to HAVEN where so many victims seek support.

“Hiller’s Good Deeds in the Making Program is a great way for HAVEN to raise community \awareness about domestic violence and sexual assault,” said Beth Morrison president and CEO. “In addition, the monies raised will assist us in keeping our victim services, which are free and available to all those in need.  We are thrilled and honored to be selected by Hiller’s for this special promotion.”

The Good Deeds in the Making program is in its second year.

“We look for organizations truly dedicated to their mission,” said Jim Hiller, president and CEO.  “We continue with the Good Deeds in the Making Program because helping people who help others is imperative to improving our community.”
