| Hiller’s Hometown Showcase: A forum for new ideas and products from Michigan |
|
July 1, 2011 – Imagine walking into the grocery store to buy milk and you walk out with a state-of-the-art bicycle? It could happen – it all depends on what new products Michigan entrepreneurs are looking to sell.
Hiller's has designated Saturdays as the time for Michigan entrepreneurs and inventors to display their products and inventions. Michigan residents with new ideas and products need only ask to be given a place in Hiller’s to showcase their ideas and products. Aptly named “Hiller’s Hometown Showcase: A forum for new ideas and products made in Michigan” will begin this summer. "We are fortunate to have a large and loyal customer base and we want to expose them to new Michigan ideas and products as a way of helping jump-start our state's economy," said Justin Hiller, vice president. Hiller’s has a long-standing dedication to promoting Michigan products within their stores. They proudly display Michigan-made products on their shelves with helpful signage for easy identification. Today, hundreds of Michigan products are sold at Hiller’s, and many of those Michigan-based companies got their start in the marketplace by debuting at Hiller’s. Hiller’s is currently seeking applicants with a business idea, Michigan product or invention who would like to display their products and ideas inside a Hiller’s location. Hiller’s has even set up a special email address for those contacts. It is HillersShowcase@hillers.com . Please provide your contact information, along with a brief explanation of your product and a photo of it. |
