“Our school calls this the Free, Easy and Painless Fundraising
Program. We are able to raise money year-round with Scrip cards. Thank
you for helping support our school!” - Dee, Pleasant Lake Elementary School
“The Hiller’s process was absolutely painless. With other stores, it’s cumbersome and slow. Thanks to Hiller’s for making fundraising so easy!” - Val, St. Luke’s Episcopal Church Since 1993, Hiller’s Markets has partnered with hundreds of non-profit organizations to raise money just by their supporters doing their weekly grocery shopping. When organizations like ALS of Michigan, Make-A-Wish Foundation and others, including schools and religious groups, join the program, they give their participants Scrip cards provided by Hiller’s. Money is put on the cards using cash, credit cards or checks. The customer then uses the Scrip card to pay for their purchases. With every activation and reload from $5 up to $1,000, the non-profit receives 5%. The amount earned is paid every month regardless of the total along with a statement of the card activities exclusive to their group. In 2008, Hiller’s collected $4,704,868 in gross Scrip sale, which sent $235,243 to well over 300 non-profits. This year we project that gross total to top $5 million! As our President and CEO, Jim Hiller has often stated we will get through these difficult financial times in Michigan together. Michigan families helping Michigan families.
