Zack and some friends began catering dinner parties in and around the
Hudson Valley in New York.Word spread fast and soon they were booking events from small dinner parties to parties for over 250 guests. After a visit home, Zack realized that his hometown market didn’t have the culinary options he knew he could provide. So he moved his young catering operation to Michigan and began to build Cutting Edge Cuisine. Zack’s culinary expertise and taste level permeates every aspect of his business. From the food to the service, table settings, lighting and more, he ensures that every event runs smoothly, comes together seamlessly and overachieves the client’s vision. Truly one of America’s hottest young chefs, Zack has what it take to turn the usual into something deliciously unusual. Local Chef Zack Sklar has partnered with Hiller’s to create unique dishes offered exclusively at our stores. Check out "Zack's From Scratch” new dishes at Hiller’s, starting with Apple Raisin Kugel, and Sweet Kugel, at our West Bloomfield location in the store later this week. The Kugels will be available in 5lb. oven ready trays as well as a 12oz. individual loaf size. Come to the West Bloomfield store this Thursday, October 6th and Friday October 7th from 11-3 to meet Chef Zack and to sample both Kugels.
