Hiller's is coming up roses (and birds of paradise!) this Mother's Day

Where can you work that smells beautiful, features all the colors of the rainbow, and makes people break into a grin? Hiller’s florists know the answer, as each and every day, they bring happiness into people’s lives with the finest floral arrangements.

Mother’s Day is, of course, one of Hiller’s Markets busiest days in the floral department. Loyal customer Angela Milosevski, of Northville, has already placed her order for two large bouquets, one for her mother and one for her mother-in-law.

“I buy all my flowers at Hiller’s because they really are top quality, the freshest I have ever seen. The floral girls there are outstanding,” explained Angela. “When I place an order and get the finished product I am always stunned. They really are so professional.”

Not limited to bouquets, Hiller's floral department can whip up elegant, creative or unique centerpieces for any occasion. Recently, Angela’s little niece was having an Elmo and Fairies-themed birthday party. “I wondered whether it would be possible to have Elmo, tiaras or fairy wands in the bouquet, and the next thing I knew the florists went hunting around in the bakery for decorations. Everyone at the party was raving about the perfect centerpiece,” said Angela.

For Jennifer Operhall, one of the dedicated florists at Hiller’s Market in Northville, bringing joy – and going that extra mile for customers – is what her job is all about. “It really is the best – you give people flowers and they smile every time,” she said. “We have such a great selection and the freedom to bring in tropical flowers that people might want for a really special arrangement.”

And according to Angela that’s exactly what she’ll get – unbeatable blooms. “My husband and I were just in Chicago and I looked at the flowers there. They really looked wilted and I told him, ‘There’s nothing better than Hiller’s flowers!’” she said.
